Education

Being educated in how to give your best when helping families, how to take care of yourself, and where to find the resources you need are some of the common requests from professionals.  Sometimes the manager, committee or individuals find that a rejuvenation and update on the state of perinatal loss is in order.  Maybe there are new staff who need an indepth orientation.  It is our goal to help you find the resources and education.  If we can provide it or we know someone who has the skillset that you need, we are happy to make referrals.

We offer CEU self study programs.  Visit the eSHOP to find the three that are completed so far.  They are: Couple Communication After a Baby Dies, Empty Arms, and Giving Care, Taking Care.

If you need CEU credits or have an area you wish to learn more about, check out our eShop to see what we have for you.  Webinars are in our future...just tell us what topics you want us to cover.   When you order, you receive a book, objectives, instructor bio, outline, evaluation and upon successfully completing and returning the packet to us, you will receive a certificate for the contact hours.

The CEU self-study course we have so far are:

Couple Communication After a Baby Dies (4 contact hours) $40

Empty Arms (4 contact hours) $40

Giving Care, Taking Care: Support for the Helpers (4 contact hours) $40

You will also find events that either we are facilitating or where we will be speaking in the Events Bar.   If you have an interest in holding an inservice at your facility or in your community, contact us.  We may have just the speaker you need.  The range of options for training topics are many.  Some of them are listed in the Consulting section.  If you don't see a topic you need, just ask. Our team can probably help you.
