Sue Steen

Biography

 

Sue Steen, RN, BSN, MS,

Sue’s nursing and teaching career spans 30 years. She is currently teaching nursing at Bethel University in the areas of maternal child health, nursing leadership and diversity in nursing. Sue has published a number of articles related to faith development in children and has done research related to parents grief experience with perinatal loss. In addition to her role as a nursing professor, she has practiced nursing in many adult and maternal child health settings. Her career includes a variety of roles; staff nurse, staff educator and most recently perinatal loss coordinator.

Sue is passionate about working with families who have suffered a perinatal loss. She also uses her nursing and teaching experience to assist institutions and health care providers in giving a high standard of care to families as they go through this difficult experience.
